UK GOVERNMENT ENABLES FLINTSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL TO BUILD NEW HOMES

Flintshire County Council is able to build council housing for the first time in 24 years thanks to the UK Government allowing Welsh councils to follow councils in England and exit the Housing Revenue Account system, Shadow Housing Minister Mark Isherwood has said this week.

During a question to the First Minister in the Assembly this week on Increasing the Housing Supply, reference was made to the new council housing being built in Flintshire.
